Wiser Farm is
host of the official “horse
sale” of the Tennessee Walking
Horse National Celebration and
also hosts the largest Tennessee
Walking Horse sales in the
world! Wiser Farm is
located in the heart of
Tennessee Walking Horse country
– Shelbyville, TN. Wiser
Farm offers to sale patrons the
best selection of show horses,
pleasure horses, broodmares and
yearlings in a variety of
colors, skills and pedigree.
Our sale schedule includes
events that have been part of
the Wiser Farm tradition for
many years. Our sale year
begins with (1) our Trainers
Show Sale held during the WHTA
National Trainers Show in March
each year. (2) Our
Fun Show Sale follows each May
during the TWHNC’s Spring Fun
Show. (3) Every July is
exciting as we host our Annual
Independence Sale. (4) In
late August, we host our
biggest sale of the year – the
Wiser Farm Celebration &
Yearling Production Sale! This
sale consists of 6 sale days
held in conjunction with the
11-day Tennessee Walking Horse
National Celebration – our
breed’s world championship
crowning event! (event ends the
Saturday night before Labor Day
each year). (5) Finally,
we end our sale year in late
November with our Thanksgiving
Classic – a 2-day sales event
held on the Friday and Saturday
following Thanksgiving Day each
year!
